This is an incredibly obscure tutorial to say the least, but I did find a lot of people throughout the internet suffering from the same problem I was. Here goes.
If you have a PSP 1000, 2000 or 3000, you may be one of the unlucky people who have come across home bar malfunctiosn from excessive usage, dropping your PSP, dust or sand etc. The folliwing video is a tutorial showing you how to fix this problem, however it is only demonstrated on the PSP 2000 that I own.
I will let you know now that you will need to buy a new home bar to do this tutorial, and you can pick them up on eBay really cheap (search "PSP home bar"). Once you have one of those, either follow my PSP 2000 dismantling, or look up how to take apart your PSP 1000 or 3000 and get fixing!
