All The 6.60 PRO B10 Essentials
I will speak what is on everyones mind: The PSP scene is just about dead. With official firmware sitting pretty on 6.60, and CFW no longer needing any more upgrading, the only real news is related to sales compared to the Vita.
This doesn't mean we can't at least show some newbies how to make the most of their PSP's. Below are three videos showing you the basics on how to set up your PSP with the latest CFW, using RemoteJoyLite on the installed CFW, and finally how to play backed up ISO's on your PSP (I do not support piracy, buy your games).

I was hoping to find essential homebrews and plugins, but all I found was a bunch of newb guides, Im kind of disapointed
Sorry if the article title is a little misleading, it was the only title that seemed to make sense. The videos were made for newbs though, and doesn't reflect the limit of my PSP/PS3 knowledge. Its Ok, I know you guys have a lot of knowledge, I think the precence of newbs indicate that the scene is far from dead,, it means there are still people getting their psps at this point, and they need documentation about the scene. Im not criticicing this post, I was just disapointed by the title, but as you said it was probably the best one.

Don't be scared. ProCFW-B10 is probally the most reliable Custom-Firmware for any PSP. I use it my self.

I install 6.6 pro-B10 on my psp slim 2003 hackable and I shut it down and now , when i try to restart it nothing goes on exepted my green led. Pandora & magic memory stick black screen no memory stick light flashing. I put the Pandora & magic memory stick in my sons slim 2003 (02g) TA-088v1/v2 as this is the same slim 2003 and i will boot in to the magic memory stick. So i no the magic memory stick and Pandora is ok. Any HELP PLEASE.

The RemoteJoyLite Does not run Games on the computer monitor, only the XMB. I keep getting sent to a black screen saying WAITING in the corner. Im running PRO B-10 on PSP 1001 FAT. Advice?
If you have a 1000, then you need to get a full CFW. If games requre a higher version of firmware, then get the plugin that spoofs the firmware version to say it is the highest right now.
If you have 1000, you need to get a full CFW. If you have a game that requires a higher firmware version, just get the plugin that spoofs your firmware version to say that it is the corrent one.
You also need to add the prx to game.txt as well as what the other guy said.
You will need to disconnect the USB cable and close RJL when you start the game. Once you get into the intro credits/start menu of the game plug back in again. It just messes up when going between VSH and in game using the plugin. Hope this helps.
Still experiencing the same problem, even tried playing my game for awhile then plugging in and starting RJL. Still black "WAITING" screen. If it helps Iv got AudioBoost, CXMB, Hold V4, PSPPowersaver, XMBCTRL and POPSLOADER running at the same time as RJL. I cant see any reason why theyd interfere though.

6.60 PRO B9/10 does this update work on my psp go no mater what it at now iam new at that. if so i just do like the videos show me
Yeah I use it but psp Go only support Light CFW then the full one, so do NOT try to use the CIPL flasher in attempt to get it to full as you will brick.

so still install 6.6 but just dont use cipl i just have to quick install ever time i turn it of ?do i delete the cipl flasher folder form my psp or just leave it

i am on psp3000 and i instal the cfw. which works but i try to use the cipl and all it does is tells me is not compatible with this version. and ideas how to sort this out?

I installed this on my 1001 and now the screen is blurry and shaky and the sound crackles. It is also starts up slow, painfully slow. Tried fast recovery same thing. Re-formatted stick, reset system to defaults and re-installed - nothing. I have taken it off and can run OFW 6.60 fine. What did I do wrong?

Anyone having an issue using the psp camera on psp2001? I pretty much install everything, games running fine. but when i connect my psp-camera and try to launch it, the psp hangs and shuts down with a pop

anyone facing an issue launching psp-camera? mine hangs and shuts down upon launching the camera; with and without the camera attached.
I wouldn't label it dead just yet, PRO is coming with a new online play feature which currently goes through betatesting and other developers still are busy developing new brews for this thing...I can't share your oppinion about this one...
Only feature that is worth a crap is no-umd on video iso's.you have to pandora to get out of it. and format the flash logically to rid the nand of 6.60 traces or yo ugot problems.
I'm sticking with dax's 5.00m33. i can play all games and all the plugins work. 6.60 is good for umdless video iso's but it leaves crap in the nand unless you use pandora and format the flash logical before downgrade. otherwise it's a good option for newer users.
I wanted to ask if it was safe to sign up on the playstation network even with the Pro-B10 crack installed on my PSP3000...I am thinking signing up for the PlayStation Network from my PSP 3000 will mess up my system or affect my ability to play any games based on my hack....help me out

After some messing around, basically if you wait for the game to load first, and then plug the usb cable in it will show up on remotejoy. So for the people that can't get it to work:1. Open Remote Joy2. Start PSP, Start game,3. AFTER the game has started, plug the USB cabled PSP into the PC4. It should work Which brings me to the next question, I do I get remote joy to work for the normal menu as well? I have a PSP-1000 and installed PRO B-10 Fix 1 + Remote Joy 0.19 from the video

Subject is what I'm currently running. I was thinking about updating to 6.60 but I'm worried of a couple things:Will I have to re-download the emulators that I have?Will I lose the save games that I have for the games that I have been playing?Is it worth it to go from 6.35 to 6.60?My main goal is to be able to play Ocarina of Time on my PSP, will 6.60 help achieve this? Any enlightnement would be much appreciated.

I got up to using the CIPL Flasher For PRO-B, started it up and all it said was "the installer does not supper this model". I've already installed the PRO Update, cos it says in system information 6.60 PRO-B9.Im I doing something wrong?
