Coldbird Quits, PRO-C Still in Development
Good news and bad news... And I'll give the bad news first: Coldbird, one of the developers behind the PRO custom firmware, has decided to up 'n quit the scene. Why? Because haters keep hatin' ... simple as that. These guys provide a free service in their spare time and when you flame 'em it doesn't sit well. So be it ... it is what it is. The good news: CFW PRO-C is still in development and there are still plans for the new online mode.
New online mode? Hells yeah... Apparently this mode will add infrastructure over Ad-hoc, similar to XLink Kai, only you won't actually need XLink -- just the custom firmware. Codestation has taken over the code and hopefully can continue where Coldbird left off. As for a release date ... there is none.
In the meantime you can download CFW 6.60 PRO-B9. It works with all PSP models.

omg Kai without Kai - I can't wait for PRO-C. I used to be a proponent of TN, but, if they can pull this off, they win PSP forevers.

what should i say i am being using the pro cfw for a long time and got to say you guys are best when it come to stablety and performance and its just so hard for me to believe that you quiting.

Makes sense. If you can't stick the heat get out of the kitchen... Or are they going back to the kitchen? Whatever. The bottom line is the you will always have critics, if you cannot deal with them in a normal fashion, well you "up 'n quit". Good luck to them whatever they decide to do but the world outside the internet is a mean place. If people slandering you anonymously on the internet gets to you the real world will crush your soul.Roll on the ME.

That's so cool! (sarcasm) Now that's 2 awesome developers that quit. (Coldbird and Total_Noob) The PSP Hacking world is falling because of lack of support to the Developers.

Its a shame because I really prefer Pro over ME, and it means one less person keeping the PSP alive. I never understood why people flamed anyway. It's very bad karma
But to be honest I'm not sure his leaving the scene will stick. It'd be like if Louis Hamilton left motor racing - he may have reasons, they may be logical, he may have every intention of doing it... but could he honestly say that he could keep himself out of the driving seat...?

Keep it up as much as ppl say your crap your not you ignore ppl who say 'mines better than yours' you keep up the effort and you can do more things than what they have and thats the truth.
