POPSLoader v3 Released
A new POPs effort has surfaced: POPSLoader v3 for CFW 6.xx PRO. POPSLoader lets you emulate any PSX (PS1/PSOne) game ... not just those downloadable on PSN.
The POPSLoader installation process is a tedious one... You'll be required to dump/decrypt certain files from official firmware updates using psardumper. What files? Refer to the included README.txt.

Also, you should know, another version of POPSLoader is available if you're experiencing problems with the official build; problems related to resuming from suspend mode. You can download & read more on popsdeco's POPSLoader v4d here.

I think i'll stay with my old popsloader unless this can fix the megaman legends 2 ladder glitch.
agh.... Megaman Legends 2 for real? How can you still play that?
because they're not making a megaman legends 3. legends was a good game and showed that megaman could make a pretty solid RPG game rather then the side scrolling platformers.
that glitch can be fixed by trying different pops versions. you can find a download somewhere that will enable you to hold the R key while loading a pops game to choose a different pops version. this fixed the problem for me. or you could try downloading the game from somewhere else as that fixed the problem for some people and its what I had to do to fix the mist monster problem on suikoden 2 even tho changing the pops version had worked for other people.

im on cfw 6.60 prob9 psp2kslim i have a problem i cant play signed games it says the game could not be started...i dunno before i was running 6.20 prob8 but it works fine...my new current cfw 6.60prob9 cannot able to play signed games is anyone have an idea?
Just use the M33 or Prometheus driver instead of leaving it on normal......If you have CFW who cares if your programs are signed???
i have to agree mega man legends 1 is a classic i never got a chance to really play it.my ps1 on psp is awesome hopefully ps2 will be emulated on the vita

Hope this update fixes the suspend problem.
I've always wondered what games do you need this for cause all my converted PS1 games work fine with without pops. Is there any advantage to using popsloader anymore?
well tekken 3, megaman legends 2, grand turismo were games i had trouble with until i got popsloader
That is weird I don't know about Tekken 3 but the other two worked fine for me without it. Popsloader is always one thing that confused me about to why people needed it. I always make my own eboots from ISOs maybe that is why I never had a problem. Or just got lucky and never ran into any that didn't work.
Do PRO users need this? I thought PRO has some kind a built in PSX emulator?
you can play psx games on the psp however some need different pops to run but sony changed the pops each firmware, but i might be wrong still i would get it if your a psx lover

Now my MK Trilogy wont work. It did in the last version of pops and with 3.51
mine work from 3.03 to 3.51 pops w/ bgm
my psp is 6.20 when i upgraded it to 6.39 cfw it says ur fw doesnt support xxxxxxx plz help me
I think Pro-B should work fine with it. But ME needs another file. It should be on the site. Then just hold R button when lunching a PSX game to select which pops you want.There is a bridge for ME-8http://psp.dashhacks.com/2011/...
I've had quite a bit of trouble with POPSloader in the past. I'm using 6.60 OFW with HEN660, and can run everything I've ever tried that's compatible with 6.60 with no trouble, except PSX games. Can someone please tell me if there's any way to ake this work with the OFW and HEN? And also, could someone please give me the links for the firmware switching thing and the PSAR files? All I really want this for is Megaman X 4-6, Spyro 1-3 and some of the Final Fantasy games.
Just update to PRO or ME. It's not dangerous. I'm fairly sure HEN doesn't do PSX games AT ALL.
