CFW 6.20 / 6.35 / 6.39 PRO-B9 BETA Released
The title says it all -- and as for the [user readable] change log ... who knows? Coldbird is on vacation and Liquidzigong didn't pack one in the RARs -- but if you look here, that's the real, technical deal.
Again Custom Firmware 6.20 / 6.35 / 6.39 PRO-B9 is compatible with just about every PSP model and hardware revision:
- 6.20 [1g, 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g]
- 6.35 [1g, 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g, 7g, 9g]
- 6.39 [1g, 2g, 3g, 4g, 5g, 7g, 9g]

6.39 PRO-B9 works perfectly on my PSP-3004
The 6.39 CIPL-flasher worked perfectly to make it permanent on my PSP 2001EDIT: the only bad thing I have to say about it and that is "error loading UMD" when GTA loads

CIPL-flasher only works on pandorable PSPs.
Someone should just go forward in time, grab the files for the last ever most awesome PSP CFW ever, and then come back so we can do more important things... like tell the Dash Hacks people how awesome they are =]

Works OK for PSP-2000 on 6.39 OFW.
I don't have a GO to test it myself but this build is supposed to have added UMD Video Iso Mount for the GO like neurons LCFW ME-8 Beta for GO.

Upgrade to 6.20, 6.35, or 6.39 and use any of the CFW's of your choice.
Works fine in PSP 3001 6.35

Uninstall PRO-B8 (using installer), then update to PRO-B9 beta.
works on 3002 model, went straight from B7 perm to B9, and cxmb still works on it aswell =D though in system it says PRO NIGHTLY?
It's a beta, not the actual PRO-B9 CFW.
Is it possible to add a toggle for disabling the audio-out over USB for the PSPgo? The majority of USB cables available for it disable the sound when the USB is connected for charging or transferring data (Xlink via USB)

Works perfectly in 3001. I have a question, if the official (non beta) firmware will release, and i planned to upgrade my FW into non beta, does it makes your psp go nuts or worst, BRICK? noob question ang grammar, apologizes. :)
There should be a very low chance that it will brick as the CFW is only temporary (it goes away if the PSP is fully powered off) if you didn't install the CIPL flasher.The safest way to update to a newer CFW is to:1. Run the old installer and remove the CFW.2. Run the new installer (PRO-B9 when it comes out) and install the newer CFW.
help.. after i updated to 6.39 pro-b9 beta and then it reboots, it just turns off!! any suggestions?? i have psp phat
It bricked. You need a Pandora battery and a magic memory stick to fix.
That might not be true. It could just be due to incompatible plugins.
Disable ALL your plugins and then try again.
its a beta so that could be bug that needs fixing
You should install the LITE version instead and then you will have absolutely no chance of bricking your psp
I recently bought PSP 3001 and it is with the FW 6.35. But it doesn't play the downloaded games. How can I make it play all the games that I have downloaded and was able to play with my PSP 2004
Update to 6.39 ofw, run the 6.39 PRO B9-beta update, and then you should be able to play those "games"

you gotta download the ofw 6.39 and update your psp.then update to beta 9
these 2 dudes are dumb as heck,u don't need to update to 6.39 to do this,just grab the 6.20 cfw and use that sheesh,also u can perm patch the 6.20.
you need to update to OFW 6.39 on your psp and then update to PRO B8 or M9

You could update to 6.39 OFW and then run PRO or ME custom firmwares (your choice).
hi everyone.. i have a problem on CFW 6.20/6.35/6.39 Pro b1 up to b.... does anyone encounter this problem.. everytime i browse the net using psp default browser. my psp freezes. aw.. and i had to remove the battery to restart it again... why oh why.. can anyone help me or it is just a bug on CFW PRo... aw.. ----i can't check my fb twitter on 'wifi on board' bus & malls hotspots----i can't check the latest news btw my psp model is 1g(phat)i love cfw PRO then pls help me.. :)

The PRO CFW is the best firmware ever, can revert to ofw anytime. It is so amazing. I was hesitant when I first got my PSP almost 2 months ago about hacking, but now I have, and it works great!
Same here, I asked a lot of question but when I installed it, woow, it was like I was streesing for nothing. Very good!
