CFW 6.39 ME-8 BETA Released for PSPgo

Showing the PSPgo (05g) some love is neur0n with custom firmware 6.39 ME-8 BETA. Two versions are available: one is Light (LCFW) and the other isn't. What's the difference? Not entirely sure... And so you know I haven't tried this yet either... My PSPgo is at home and I'm not.

If you're feeling ballsy then give it a go, but again, I can't confirm whether or not they work, or if they write to flash at all. Maybe it's 100% safe and I'm acting paranoid ... recovering a bricked go ain't so easy though.

Anyway, whatever the case, leave a comment if you try it out, otherwise I'll be trying 6.39 ME-8 for PSPgo when I'm back home.

neur0n -- respect!

Note: These CFWs are for PSPgo (05g) models only

Not sporting a PSPgo? Try 6.39 ME (or PRO) for other PSP models right here.

first coment!!! oh and uh. the cfw works fine running on white psp go. but is there by any chance a permanent patch for this?

Afaik, a permanent patch is only available on firmware 6.20, because the necessary patches to the firmware files are either untested or blocked in higher firmwares.

awesome!!!!!!.. but why does the recovery menu has a jigkick battery option........the psp go battery dosent even have a serial number ........ but still cool.....i hope that a permanent pacht comes :) .........

By The Comments Below I wanna Try It... But Since It Is Not Permanent I Don't Wanna Try It :'(

Has anybody figured out the difference between the ME-8 Beta & the LME-8 Beta yet.Edit: CFW ME-8 Beta is a typo. It's actually LCFW ME-8 Beta v1. The one spelled LCFW ME-8 Beta is actually v2 with a fixed UMD Cache.

me testing LME-8 on psp gohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

Urghh, I'll probably stay on 6.20 because it's permanent. It's too much effort re-flashing this repeatedly from a PSP.

hiii guyz watch my bricked psp 3004 video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...

good thing i have a ta 088 v2  psp 2001 instead of 3000 or a Go. i bet it would be annoying to have to use 6.20 cfw for it to be permanent, :P

not really, for me 6.20 beats 6.39 'coz many plugins are compatible on 6.20 and not on 6.39, & i don't use permanent 'coz i don't really care to waste 5secs to enable lcfw, it's much safer to use, to update to later cfw's & to uninstall.

@annson08:disqus At first there weren't many plugins for 6.39, but almost all 6.20 plugins have been updated to 6.39 now.

what exactly was changed?

i cant use this because i semi bricked my psp go on 6.20 tn-e perma patch and im still waiting for an email from greg so that he can tell me where to go in the dash hacks forums so i can revive my poor psp go!!! i woodnt recomend doing a permanent cfw on a psp go beacause theres a 50% chanch you will semi brick your psp go

hey, there's a semi brick recoverer that was posted by greg some time ago, edit: i think, the one i saw isn't posted by greg, and not here @ dashhacks

The app annson08 is talking about is PRXUNBRICKER PSP GO FIX, just google it. It won't work if you can't boot to recovery menu, so I hope you installed the recovery menu right. Also, don't tell people that there's a 50% chance of semi-bricking your GO if you install the Perma Patch. That would mean half of all people who perma-patched their GO would have a semi-brick. Thousands of people have done it with no problem, it's probably user error. I'm not trying to give you a hard time. I'm just saying that if your going to report stats, you need to report them accurately.

hey there's a new PRO CFW its PRO B9 BETA! check it out http://code.google.com/p/procf...

the new version 6.39me9 is release, its seems not beta version anymore…. i seen it on http://e-arena.blogspot.com/20... anyone have tried its? which is better than 6.39pro b9..

i Install it and it's work 100% Good Thanks

hi, i have this psp-go. after i have install the custom firmware, when i switch off the psp, the firmware goes away ( switch off by turning off the entire psp , NOT to sleep mode)  can you help?
