One of my most used plugins -- RemoteJoyLite -- has been adapted to the latest in custom firmwares. This plugin lets you output your PSP screen, over USB, to your Windows PC. It's especially useful when recording gameplay, whether that is homebrew or actual PSP games.
In order to use RemoteJoyLite you'll need the "PSP Type B" USB driver. You can find that in this package. Download, unzip, and look in the "windows" directory; there are two drivers, one for 32 bit and the other for 64 bit (x64) versions of Windows.
The rest is pretty straightforward: Activate the plugin under game.txt and/or vsh.txt, connect the PSP via USB to your PC, and start the RemoteJoyLite GUI (exe).
This is an example video recorded using RemoteJoyLite and Camtasia (on my Mac via Parallels):
Cool, eh?

How do i start RemoteJoyLite on my psp after I've installed it into my plugins, and set up the VSH.txt and GAME.txt? There was no instructions with the plugin's zip file. Thanks in advance!
if it's enabled in vsh.txt or game.txt it's running - just connect the PSP to your PC now and start the GUI - it should work right after that
where do i install the plugins kinda lost never did this b4 :(

Hey thanks for that! Great Plugin and App!

i'm having this problem also
what about mac osx? where can i find the psp type B driver for mac osx
thnx work perfectly
err will this work on 6.20 cfw?
I've been using it with TN-E 6.20, but my PSPS (3001) constantly freezes if a Save screen starts to load, same with the "load save" screens, sometimes even when remotejoylite is not running.
you aren't the only one... ;_;
When will RemoteJoyLite 20+ be realeased?
i would like to have Game categories release for 6.39it would be awesome
Is the executable signed from a trusted source?
i have 6.20 pro b6 and it doesnt workits saying somthing about direct3d rerror 2what is that?
I set up my buttons on my controller to work with this and RemoteJoyLite does work with it. I end having to use the PSP controls. Anyone else with this problem?
there needs to be clear instructions on how to install this and get this running. ive had this problem with most of the updated homebrew apps. they might think we already have the old version already installed. but oh well
Why no OSX love from whoever makes RemoteJoy? I loved it a lot while on Windows... getting it to run in OSX is a huge hassle, specially because it requires you to press F5 to get it working, and lastest mac computers have some special functions (dictionary drop menu) for the F5 key, making it incompatible with OSX =/
just says "waiting" on the remotejoy screen on the pc
It works fine until I start a game my USB disconnects
NOTE: you need Asian Language installed on your PC to display the menus properly, otherwise you will see a garbled mess in the controller re-map screen. (blank remap buttons).you will need a WinXP CD, & only way to do this is download a pirated copy and burn to CD-R.
is this compatible with the CFW 6.60 PRO-B9?
Win7 wont detect my memory stick anymore after instaling the 32bit usb driver.
Is there a way to fix this?
try restarting your psp
says "waiting". . How do i fix this?
I too have had this problem any idea how to fix it yet?
Every time I try and install the driver my mouse and keyboard stop working entirely o_o. I've had to use System Restore to get it back to working, but can anyone tell me the reason behind this?
I'm running Vista x64 bit
What are the commands to enter to make the screen show clearly?
this don't work for ps1 games can you make this work for pops/ps1 game
God this is really shitty. THere is not even instructions. Do you expect us to use our Crystal balls? Really, try to be morre supportive. Fuckers
