PSP 6.20 TN-E Released! *Updated*

Cooler than ever is Total_Noob with 6.20 TN-E! The homebrew enabler that not only enables homebrew, but enables just about everything else you'd find in a custom firmware; support for ISOs, POPs (PSX emulation), plugins, etc... And with 6.20 TN you'll find other features unique to itself.

Now I'm sure you've seen the partial change log posted on other sites, am I right? Well Total_Noob included a little surprise, changing the game a wee bit... You won't find this level of integration with other CFWs or HENs. Check it out:

Tell me that isn't badass... Now give a round of applause to Total_Noob. Nice job man!

To install 6.20 TN-E: Copy TN_HEN/EBOOT.PBP to PSP/GAME on your memory stick or internal PSPgo storage. That simple.

If you're wondering why a perma-patch isn't available for TN-E ... Total_Noob bricked one PSP during development, thus has been left out this time 'round.

Make sure you read the change log. Lots of good stuff in there...

wow nice, but im sticking to 6.20 pro b4.

XD yeah, i think this would be better if it has a perma patch.

Plus TN-D sucked in game support and they haven't seemed it add much improvement.

TN-E provides you with PSN support so you can go online but sadly PSN has been hacked and that sucks. Wird how bin lardin died and psn went????? No offenece though...

yeah that the perfect one... cant wait for 6.20 pro b5 ... tn got so much problem

6.20 TH-E is perm?

no dude, it's just HEN

yeah this is cool but, I'm staying with 6.20pro, I find more ,thrill Hacking it using the perma=patch, especially when you dont know what will happen to your console, boom!! and when it worked!!!hahha, Im a total noob fan but i prefer the best which in my opinion is pro..but this is realy cool to those who are afraid to brick their psp using the perma..but still total_noob you rock!!

u will come to no about bricking when u will brick 1 like i did it is very painfulmy psp bricked when i try to uninstall perma patch pro b4 6.20

i'm sure that you haved deleted your vshorig.prx when you tried to uninstall de cfw...

you deleted your vshorig.prx in the root of your memstik.you didn't read the message in the screen when installing perma patch

try reading the description... it says clearly that its not

sperm?

is CFW 6.38 ME better then this?

Yea, 6.38ME is a CFW, TN620 is a HEN.CFW is always better than a HEN as its always on even after a reboot, a HEN you have to turn on after a reboot.I have 6.38ME on 2 of my PSPs and TN620 on my GO

TN-e! its dynomite! TN-e! gonna win the fight!...

Hm, this might just be wishful thinking but when you said "support for ISOs", does that mean you can now play them from the main menu or are we still stuck using Prometheus ISO Loader?

sorry still need an iso loader, but those work :)

You could use aloader1.25, it's working great on mine. Seems a little slower on cso than it did with TN-D, but it's still faster than having to open an isoloader

PLEASE help i used to use TN hen but my psp broke......now i have a new one but its a 9G 3000 modelis there any way that i can downgrade.....i know that davees downgrader doesn't work.....but is there another way?

Which firmware are you on now?

im on 6.35 and im using 6.35 PRO B-4

Well, I would stick with that. The 9g model came with 6.30 on it and isn't capable of running 6.20. If you try it's an instant brick!

Can Install it in a Psp Slim 2001?

lol, i was just about to install 6.20PRO-4 as i saw this...

I would continue with 6.20PRO-4

Yea, i just wish i could get the perma patch to work (PSP-1001)

it does nothing? it just shutsdown my psp 3k....oops! found the solution, plugins needed to be disabled to install tn-e

I am having the same problem? How do you disable plugins?

It's a beautiful update, my questions are psp-1000 compatible, and as far as this is concerned if your main goal was to play psx games that look great and play well where would this stack up?

why it freeze? having problems with thatI remov the plugins folder and lauch it then it workbut once i enter the TN settings it freeze again! Not working for me!

same things happen to me... i removed the plugins then i start to run TN settings.. then my psp go freeze then shut off.. this is shit!!

install the iso tool. this will solve freeze problem.

i'm still sticking on pro b4

6.20 PRO B4 is much better

Definitely trying this out!im on m33 as of now, but tn-e seems pretty badass.

i better stick with 6.20 pro-b4

Thanks for the release. However, I am so disappointed right now, when I read that you made "MacroFire" compatible I was so happy however it does not work FuSa gamepad, it just doesn't open up and that's what I need it for :(

I currently have a Permanent 6.20 PRO-B4 and I really wanna try this TN-E! So can I unistall the Perma Patch and try TN-E...and switch between PRO_B4 and TN-E? Or is there some risk that I should know about?

no there is no risk

Well I've always been a fan of the TN series. Total_Noob has contributed alot to the hacking community. I was on TN-D but I moved to 6.20PRO-B and well frankly enough I think I'm just going to stick with it. I'm satisfied with everything it does so I don't plan to change anytime soon. Still though incredible contribution my friend. People shouldn't bash him. He's contributing unlike the rest of us who are using the work of others for ourselves.

I just purchased a PSP GO 6.20 that has TN-D already installed. I want to switch to the new PSP CFW 6.20 PRO-B5. I know there are probably tutorials on how to do this but I can't find one that walks me through the entire process from switching back to factory firmware to installing the PSP CFW 6.20 PRO-B5. How did you switch? Anybody's help is greatly appreciated.

Guy ,im going to teach you:1 you use hellcats, if it don't work you download the perm patch to 6.20 TN-D.Hellcats downgrade it to a version, you can update it back to 6.20 OFW and then install 6.20 PRO B4

Look down there and if Hellcats don't work you use the 6.20 Tn-D Perm to uninstall the perm , after that you restart your psp and install 6.20 PRO B5, a thing that is good on PRO B is that you can install the update and keep the perm

Anything more you want just send me a e-mail felipegnedel@gmail.com

Thanks

in my opinion, hen is still the best bcoz u can change back to OFW that easily... but still all hackers really deserve some respect and award... i believe sony is the enemy so unscrew it...

install the isotool, this will solve the freeze problem.

how to get that watch in our psp

the clock is just for PSP go.
