[WIP] Half Byte Loader for PSP Firmware 6.30
Big things brewin' -- especially for those who've slipped-up and are now sitting sad at firmware 6.30. J416 is apparently working on a port of Half Byte Loader (HBL) for said firmware. Below is a little taste tester of what's to come:
Homebrew on 6.30?! It looks like it. The unfortunate bit: this isn't an exploitable game demo; it's a commercial game, of which I do not know the name. When that's made available you'll have to act quick, as Wololo notes, "...people would have to buy that game, and additionally, it will most likely be patched very quick on the PSN, so interest is limited for PSP Go owners (although rumors say that a solution exist against Sony patching their games on the PSN)."
So remember: Patience! When 6.31 is released -- DO NOT update.

CFW isn't possible on 3000 or GO. If you have M33 or GEN, then you already have everything you need. Ugh... you retards are hopeless.

I am very happy about this news. Great work to everyone, we are waiting for a release!Although personally I want a loader to run psp iso's, because I have iso files of the many original psx games that I still own. My psx packed up long ago, but it would be great to play them on a handheld, unfortunately I bought a PSP and because of 3 critical games I wanted- I updated to 6.30 to use the PSN. Back I have downloaded the game I want (and I don't understand why people can't just copy them on to their memory cards, if somebody can tell me).
I'm not sure if it works anymore, nor do i recall the name, but there was once a tool for decrypting games bought on the psn, which made it possible to play on cfw. Bet it can be found under downloads.

I tried this on my psp slim with the OFW 6.30 the same psp in the video, whenever i try to load the wolo savedata, it just says the data is corupted or incomplete, plz help!!! Ty

Idiots, dont go telling everyone what game it is, when its completed we will all know and it shall already be done, and maybe possible for future firmwares if ported, where as if you all go stop the video at this point to see what game it is they will find it and remove the bug immediatly, grow a fucking brain tbh.
ok, i got an issue that i dont think has been mentioned yet. ok, every1 knows the 6.31 ofw was released. so now first things first we need to find a way to downgrade without a pandora. that needs to be done first before anything else cuz there are ppl out there i'm sure that are sitting at 6.30 or 6.31 or wutever and are just now being introduced to all the homebrew stuff but they cant use any of it cuz they cant downgrade to the compatible firmwares and lets face it, theres nothing realy of any use on the newer firmwares anyway.

Hello guys, I had a DevHok before 3 years( or 2) when i have 1.53... and then i was ready to load .iso games and everything was good. now I download 6.31 and now I can't install any loader and anything.. :( can anyone help me?! I have 2 psp's. One is capable of running the old homebrew applications which every desprately wants to have. And I also have the God Of War themed psp that is indeed 6.30. I DON'T want to switch between psp's and I do want to stick with playing Ghost Of Sparta (It's THAT badass.) So I'm going to definitely be up on whatever findings people might have about getting custom firmware 6.31 so I can reach that homebrew promiseland.
