PSP 6.20 SAVEDATA Exploit Released
While my PSPgo is charging, I'll let you try it... By way of YouTube: Malloxis' Wololo's 6.20 SAVEDATA Exploit. The game, or demo actually: Patapon 2. I believe the demo is freely distributable so we'll host it.
Malloxis mentions an eLoader (Homebrew Loader) will follow.
Update: My PSPgo experience... Copied the "UCUS98732_DATA02" directory to PSP/SAVEDATA and the demo "UCUS98734" to PSP/GAME. Copied "h.bin" to the root directory. Started the game and selected Continue, then selected the hacked save, and I've been staring at a "now loading" screen since... For quite awhile now... It's not crashed; I can press "Home" and exit to the XMB. No other keys do anything though. Just sits there... "now loading..." Anyone else have any luck?
Update: I can confirm the exploit works fine on my PSP-2000. Nice job Malloxis, m0skito, n00b81, and Wololo. Thanks for the release too. Not sure what's up with my PSPgo... It's just a never-ending "now loading" screen. Others confirm that their PSPgo works though.
Update: Works on my PSPgo! I re-downloaded the Patapon 2 demo from PSN and voila! That worked fine. So I can 100% confirm this exploit both on my PSPgo and PSP Slim. Again -- nice job team!

patapon i know for fac has problems with the phat psp's greg if thats what ur trying it on. i think it has something to do with the memory but try it on a slim and see

It seems to load up like normal but if you press any button after it loads it just freezes and turns off. Bummer.
same for me on my psp slim, but that's hacked and running 5.50 GEN-D3. Maybe that's why? I'm not sure.
I'm using a PSP phat with 6.20 OFW. I don't think he released the right save data but who knows. According to the vid though, it should work on all PSP models.
No luck. You can't do anything with this. It freezes if you press R and pressing select or start functions as normal.
did u put then bin file in the root of ur memory chip cause it works on my phat

hey greg, i just tried on my psp 2000 ta 88 v2 on 6.20 ofw and 5.50 gen-d3. it worked perfectly, just like the vid, i pressed 'r' after loading, and the 'hello world' came up, my msn peterli19@hotmail.com.great to see this!
for real? Pressing 'R' does nothing for me... Doesn't crash either as JC says.
I tested on PSP Go 6.20. Crashes when I press "R", completes shuts off the PSP. The hello world never shows up.
I get the "This game could not be started" (80010013) error on my psp slim TA-85 v2 running 5.50 GEN-D3 :/
Oh nvm, I got it. It cant find the savedata now...
It works on a psp 3000 ofw 6.10, eloader would rock. I miss my psp 2000 (+[x]%) (busted screen)
I can also confirm that this works ont he PSP Go OFW 6.10.

Workin on my Pspgo too, Just put h.bin next to psp folder...
I have test it on my psp go fw 5.70 and it works like the video.
On my Go i get to the Hellolo Wololord screen but doesnt continue, it just thanxs people lol. . . . any help?
Ok once I droped that H Bin file into my root it work like a charmAlso you can hold the right button down while it loads to go stright to the hellow world screen or you can let the game load and then press the R buttonbut works for me on pspgo 6.20!!good job!!

Yeah its odd actually, I think PSP's would sell a lot more if Sony would find some way to work in Homebrews, They seem to have games being purely virtual down so why no attempt to work with homebrewers.

So, really, what does this mean for my PSP 3000 with 6.20 firmware? Is it hackable? I really am a noob to this stuff, so a full explanation put in to lame mans terms would be appreciated. When can i hack my psp 3000?? How?Can i do it now?-thanks
Well that fully depends on how far the team who made this exploit are willing to go, If they can manage to get something similar to HEN firmware running thorough this exploit then maybe you will have a hacked 3000.Just keep a constant look out on the site for updates on their stuff I guess, because so far its not hacked but I can be that's at very least what has been proven.
