Thing Thing: PSP Edition 0.9.1 Released
Setting a spot in the homebrew scene is Scorpus with his rendition of Thing-Thing for the PlayStation Portable. Never heard of it? Here's the 411: Thing-Thing is an extraordinarily violent flash game, or series of games, created by Weasel of Diseased Productions. It's very popular amongst citizens of the Internet world allowing character customization, a vast selection of weaponry, and of course plenty of bloodshed -- just enough to make Jack "crybaby" Thompson cringe.
Keep in mind: Thing-Thing is currently beta. Scorpus plans a full (version 1.0) release in the New Year around February. Campaign mode isn't available quite yet; but while in Arena mode, kill to your heart's content. Please report any bugs via the release / discussion thread.
For those who've been playing previous versions of Thing Thing;
the 0.9.1 changes:
- Fixed the bug where if you were jumping over an enemy you could get attacked
- Fixed some minor graphics errors
- Fixed some very minor AI quirks I found
- Added a cheat. Not telling you what it is though

I just tried this and it sucks! How can a program suck so much it doesnt even work!! I put in in my psp 5.02 firmware and it didn't work wtf???? It wont even show up. How I sinstallitthis? This is shite software. I would kknow im a computer hackers!!

you have official firmware (OFW) installed ,and you need CFW (Custom Firmware) installed to use it.again, its not shit software, its that you have a "shit firmware" installed.

Really great concept. Needs more work though. Once it is finished or in a much higher beta stage, this could be one AMAZING game!!

Well, I can say I tried this game out. I'd have to say it was, okay. I am a upcoming game developer and the content was satisfactory, definately ongoing and a good start. I know how difficult it is to create games, so I give Weasel of Diseased Productions, props.

the graphis on this game are really good but when it cam to playing it i found the game to be really limited and somewhat boring. now im not knocking your game because i couldn't have made this even if i knew how to program but if you can make the game run a bit faster fix the slow walking for both left and right and if you wanna give us a early christmas gift maybe a little blood :P keep up the good work
I have a build with blood ready but I plan on adding a few more features before I go and release it. Keeping in mind that this is only pre-full release. I have lots of half finished code within the game for things like aiming and the campaign. And to tell the truth even I find it boring to play. This is just a demonstration of basic game mechanics and the full release should have loads more features than this one.
