Custom Firmware 3.30 OE-A Released
Mix a few bytes from Sony's most-loved 1.50 firmware update, add a few more bits from the latest 3.30 update, stir 'em together in a pot with Dark_AleX's magic firmware fusing wand, and what do you get? 3.30 OE-A... Oooooooh yeah, snap into an Open Edition!
Installation instructions:
- Copy oeupdmaker and oeupdmaker% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you are in any SE/OE version. Get the 1.50 and 3.30 Sony updaters (of any region, because all are currently the same), and copy them in the oeupdmaker directory with the names 150.PBP and 330.PBP.
Execute the program, and it will generate the DATA.DXAR file. Although the program will check its integrity at the end, you can also check it with the following checksums:
CRC32: A0723B56
MD5: DEBFC0488D088C384021231814514DA9
SHA1: 7AB9A6928BD08E26F9BEB18C3A2314AD0C745964- Copy 330oeflasher and 330oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you are in any SE/OE version. Move the DATA.DXAR to 330oeflasher directory.
You need 75% battery, although you can skip this if you pressed L+triangle while loading the program.
3.30 OE-A changes:
- Updated from psp firmware 3.10 to 3.30
- Fixed a bug that could have caused instability in 3.10 OE after recovering from sleep mode.
- Patched a protection that prevents the firmware to load higher firmware modules.

popsloader note: it won't work on 3.30 OE due to sony rearranging again the module list of pspbtcnf_pops. (thanks sony for destroying my backwards compatibility again). I'll make a new version one of these days to support all current pops in 3.30 OE, 3.10 OE and maybe 3.03 OE-C.

i have updated my internet settings but it still doesnt work.
probably your PSP deffected, cuase I've upgraded around 7 PSP's where I live and they all worked fine after doing the Settings again. Even one of them i actualy did not Format the Disk, and it still worked perfectly withought doing no configuration again.If anycase i recomend to Use the EASY Installer or the 3.30 oe, it works flawlessly

Dark_Alex i work for sony and i make the updates. In update 3.50 that i prepare for the next month believe me you dont make an OE version Because i put the latest security to not have an access to the ram of the psp and make this stupid oe versions. Also now we prepare the new psp 2 and maybe we put a hard disk. For more information about the psp 2 go on http//www.us.playstation.com . Maybe the psp2 will be available in the site in Summer.
Sure... And Santa Claus is for real also... Finally Sony is heading for some nice profits with the PSP and they will introduce the new PSP2 this summer... Dream on...

It CAN'T run higher fw modules is what it actually says.
If it ain't broke, don't upgrade it. Don't upgrade, stay put until a good stable version with full features are out.
