PSP UMD Emulator V0.8
Humma Kavula & Friends have done it again - no videos, no "coming soon" talk - just another straight up release. PSP UMD Emulator v0.8!
From the readme:
Following in the footsteps of the Fastloader, here is another fine homebrew app for your pleasure. This time we present you a full featured UMD emulator, reboot & exitgame tight - you have to turn off your PSP completely (or crash it :p ) to get it back to original state. This is a semi-final version, some things are known not to work properly for now (see below).
- play your favourite LEGIT backuped ISOs from the main menu of your PSP !
- full UMD emulation via selected ISO, either for game, video and audio !
- possibility to bypass updater check within the menu
- possibility to remove/redirect updater icon
- possibility to set any regioncode, even for games ...
- CPU speed setup (currently for ISOs only)
- sleepmode works within games now ! See "ToDo" for more
- possibility to redirect flash0: (user config) and flash1: (kernel data)
to memorystick (and no, this is NOT a rip of the lately released MPH application)
- USB is automatically activated within the emulator config
- configuration will be automatically saved and reloaded on app restart
- reload the ISO list by pressing SELECT button
- restart emulator config by pressing START button
- maybe some more which i just forgot to mention :) ...

#7 & #8 ..That's funny I'm playing Death Jr. right now, And it works just fine.
First of all, death jr works fine. Second, this is one thing that sucks about this site, its lagged to hell with getting news. This was released hours ago and it took them forever to post it.
Dynasty Warriors does not work. Works under 0.7 but now when you try to run it it says disk cannot be read. Pity that the ISO's can't be stored in the same place because then if it does not work you can at least choose them through 0.7.Nice work though guys, keep it up and thanks.

This is a SUPERB app for the PSP. everything I tried works flawlessly, this shit really is a big FUCK YOU to ALL members of WAB for LYING to the world about an 'Iso Loader' FUCK THAT WE HAVE A UMD EMULATOR FOR THE PSP NOW U SLOW FAKE ASS Bastards! Rot in Hell WAB! (and by Hell I mean your homeland, France.)Kavula is a real PSP scene legend, completely understated aswell a very modest man. unlike WAB posting hyped videos that most likely = FAKE. but shit.. some group had to feel special i guess.. WAB do everyone a fucking favour, no more posting hype, get some solid work done and fucking POST IT, end of matter. fake ass east costerz.. Peace from LONDON
Id prefer if WAB just left the scene, I mean, they done nothing useful for the PSP, fake trainers.. (puzzle bobble) supposed loaders.. (iso loader v3) fake downgraders (like recent video, assholes..) glory hogging theives, who ever donated should really think twice about there mental well being. WAB please get the FUCK OUT YOU USELESS SONS OF BITCHES.

Space Invaders Pocket seems to work now (Havent fully tested though)
Just a quick note for anyone having problems: Your ISO _MUST_ include the PARAM.SFO file in the PSP_GAME directory and the EBOOT.BIN file in the SYSDIR directory. If you've removed either of these files, the ISO will not load with .8

all we need now is a multiple main menu loader. i have death jr. in the drive, and untold legends and mercury on my MS. hopefully soon there will be a way, in my case, to load all 3 straight from the main menu, and all having different game boot screens, possibly being that at least one has to be flashed to the firmware, being the UMD in the drive. i dunno... i was just thinkin... other than that this app fuckin rules.... i'm starting to have my doubts about WAB....
Damn this is awesome... Lets see us 1.5ers Can play almost any UMD from memstick, watch and do anything region free, and soon will be able to enjoy AVC and Better webbrowser support. We ROX!
am i really stuped?cant make it to work with nothing...any clue? fastload 7 worked like sharm, but now i'm really upset!

#42 its meant to load back to the main menu, when u go to the game part go up one more to the UMD and u will see the game u want to load
