That seems to be what Sony is saying to those folks in the US that want a PS Vita but still want access to their PSP UMD content. In Japan, you could pay a small fee and download your PSP games to your Vita.

Not so in the US.

I will speak what is on everyones mind: The PSP scene is just about dead.  With official firmware sitting pretty on 6.60, and CFW no longer needing any more upgrading, the only real news is related to sales compared to the Vita.
